Our chosen charity to raise money for is Cancer Research UK.
It is likely that at some point in our life, each of us already have, or will, know someone fighting cancer. What's more, it is estimated that more than 1 in 3 of us will develop the disease.

Cancer Research is a non government funded charity and relies solely on public support in order to continue their world leading research. Already their work has saved millions of lives and will continue to do so with the discoveries of new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Work is directed into the areas which will have the most impact:

• Research – Supporting the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK to investigate all aspects of cancer.
• Information – Working to prevent cancer and help people cope with its effects by providing information for cancer patients and their families, health professionals and the general public.
• Influencing public policy – Campaigning to keep cancer at the top of the health agenda.

100% of the sponsorships we receive for our cycle will be donated to Cancer Research. We hope you see this as just as much of a worthwhile cause as we do.
